UK-born. Sydney-based. I am a former drag racer and nightclub bouncer, with a decade in the fashion industry behind me.
I became disabled at 24 after a drag bike crash. Five months later I was out of hospital and back in real life, except real life had changed. There were still things I knew I wanted to do. So I started closing the gap.
In 2022 I left London with my partner, and together we backpacked 17 countries in 13 months around South America & South East Asia. We moved to Australia, where my next chapter really began.
I started speaking and sharing my stories and opinions on stages.
I continued writing, documenting the gaps between my able-bodied and disabled life as a woman who’s lived both sides.
And I started training seriously. A non-racing wheelchair marathoner who’s made it across 6 finish lines and is training towards a Guinness World Record in my everyday chair.
I speak, I write, I train.
I also help people and organisations close their own gap.
NONE OF THIS FITS NEATLY INTO ONE BOX.
NOR DO I, AND THAT'S KIND OF THE POINT.
