I’m a non-racing wheelchair marathoner with a world record in my sights.
I felt completely underrepresented in fitness, so I started showing up. Run clubs were about community at first. Then it became more strategic: I realised being visible at running events shifted perceptions more than anything else I do.
Then London showed me I was competitive. A small idea has grown into a Guinness World Record attempt: the fastest female marathon pushed in an everyday wheelchair, at the Gold Coast Marathon 2027.
I’m honest about the process. I’ve got a lot to learn, my discipline isn’t perfect, and I share all of it on social media. My biggest training lessons so far are speed work, running with community, and choosing freshness and joy over piling on kilometres.
In 2026 I was on flags and trains across Sydney for the Sydney Marathon. I've improved my PB by over 46 minutes in four marathons, and i completed Melbourne in 3hr 44. Which now means, not only do I want to officially beat the world record, butofcourse part of me is now aiming for sub 3hr 30.

THE EVERYDAY
ADAPTIVE ATHLETE.
It started as a simple love of running. It became a world record attempt..
Take Up Space
01
Being visible in the running community, on the course and at the start line, so the next disabled runner doesn’t have to wonder whether they belong there.
Performance Over Participation
02
Disabled athletes don’t just “want in.” I’m not out there for the medal and the photo. I’m there to push my body, grow my capacity, and find out what’s on the other side.
The Secret Marathon Mission
03
Tell me you’ve ever had an inkling to run a marathon, and I’ll be the friend who sends you the ballot link. Quietly. Persistently. As many people as possible.
THE TIME CHIPS
London 2022 was my debut. Sydney 2024 was cut short by a broken chair. I went back in 2025 to rewrite that story, and that’s where it really began. In 2026 I crossed finish lines in London, Sydney and Melbourne, setting a new PB of 3h 44m. Next up: the Gold Coast, 2027, and a world record attempt.
